David, now 49, has been consistantly buying motorcycles since the 1970s and at his last count was getting close to buying the 10,000th bike since the buying started.

Years ago he would mainly buy used bikes from all around the world. These days almost all the bikes are sourced here in the UK.

The Buying at Present is generally concentrated in the South East but encompassing Devon, Bristol, the Midlands and as far North East as Ipswich.

He has always said that the most important thing in this business is accurate motorcycle valuations. It has taken years to perfect valuation formulas, which are more accurate and more current than any Parkers, Cap or Glasses Guide listings.

He likes to buy most brands of bikes including Aprilia, BMW, Buell, Cagiva, CCM, Ducati, Harley Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, Moto Guzzi, MV Augusta, Royal Enfield, Sachs, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha. Also in the list are most classic bikes, sidecar combinations and Quad bikes.
